The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after human remains were found near railroad tracks east of Udall.
The Sheriff’s Office said a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad employee found the remains on Sunday around 2:30 p.m.
The remains were taken to the Kansas Forensic Science Center for an autopsy and identification.
