A teenager has been charged in connection with a shooting incident near downtown Wichita.
A court appearance was held for 19-year-old D’Angelo Martinez, and he was charged with criminal discharge of a firearm.
Police said gunfire was exchanged between two groups of men in their teens and early 20s near Exploration Place around 12:30 a.m. on August 4th. A window in the museum was hit by a bullet, but no injuries were reported.
