1. The debate schedule is getting a bit more crowded. Democratic VP candidate Tim Walz posted to X yesterday to accept the invitation from “CBS News” to debate Republican candidate  JD Vance on October 1st. Vance didn’t respond to reporters’ questions about if he would agree to the debate. When asked if he would he said, “I strongly suspect we’re going to be there on October 1”.

 

 

 

 

 

2. As if there wasn’t already enough confusion on the internet, if you subscribe to X, which gives you access to it’s chatbot “Grok”, you can add to the chaos with it’s new image generator. Subscribers are already flooding social media with things like former president Barack Obama doing cocaine and the presidential candidates pointing guns.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. As you get older, we joke about our “check engine light” coming on.  Well, there is actually some science behind this. A recent study revealed Humans undergo rapid biological changes around the ages of 44 and 60; thousands of molecules and microbes increase or decrease the most around those periods, causing changes to cardiovascular health and immune function

 

 

 

4. The comeback of vinyl seems to have stuck, and now Gen Z is trying to keep the vintage vibe going by bringing back music on cassette tape.  The problem is, many of them can’t figure out how to play the cassettes and find the whole process confusing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. and imagine getting arrested over all you can eat at Applebees.  That’s exactly what happened in Indiana. A woman was arrested at an Applebee’s in Portage, Indiana, after a dispute over the “All You Can Eat” option. She believed she could share the meal with her table, but the manager informed her that the deal was “valid per person, per order, no sharing.” When told that each person sharing would have to pay $15.99, the woman became agitated and disruptive and was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to jail. Not being good in the neighborhood.
