Today we honor Vietnam Veteran Reggie Fontenot. It’s been over two years since a hurricane hit Reggie’s home, two long years of arguing with FEMA and trying to get funding to get his home fixed. A home with no roof that FEMA kept telling him, hadn’t suffered extensive damage. It was so bad he had to move in with his 85-year-old mother, a burden he hated placing on her. There is now light at the end of the tunnel for Reggie, he finally got a new home thanks to the Restore Louisiana program. Enjoy your new home Reggie and THANK YOU for your service.
