1. It’s being called a major security breach as a hacker only identified as “Robert” appears to have hacked Donald Trump’s campaign and gaining access to the 271 page report created during the vetting process of JD Vance before he was announced at Trump’s running mate. Trump is suggesting Iran did the hacking.

2. Starting January 1st, the downtown area of Wichita and the game of Monopoly will have one less thing in common, Free Parking. With over 1100 comments on the city’s Facebook page, the response and the comments have been a mix of anger and frustration. The city will hold several meetings this week to discuss the plan and things like rates.

3. Samsung  has recalled over 1.1-million models sold between 2013 and 2024 due to a fire hazard. Specifically, the company has received over 300 reports of ranges being accidentally turned on by humans or pets since 2013, with the recalled ranges being involved in at least 250 fires and roughly 40 injuries. This, combined with a class action lawsuit regarding their ice makers, is not a good look for Samsung

4. Not exactly the announcement from the cockpit you want to hear when on a plane thousands of feet in the air. Passengers on board Alaska Airlines flight 3492 bound for Jackson Hole, Wyoming, were rerouted to Salt Lake City when the pilot announced:

Hey, I’m really sorry folks but due to me not having the proper qualification to land in Jackson Hole, we need to divert to Salt Lake City, Utah.

A tidbit of info that would have been good to know before the plane took off.
