Today the Awesome is in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The Spiewakowski family had a yard sale after relocating their elderly father, to sell some of his possessions. Days later after the sale a man named Mike, who had bought a $6 box of costume jewelry returned some of the coins that were mixed in.  Turns out the coins were valuable and he wanted to do the right thing and return them. The family was deeply moved by Mike’s honesty saying, “Those are the heroes in the world. They do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. People can be so mean to each other. We forget how nice people can be. I hope he knows what a tremendous impact he’s made on a family who’s been struggling with their dad’s stuff over the last year. It made a big difference to us.” When a simple act of kindness means so much more, THAT’S AWESOME.
