It’s no secret that Morgan Wallen has has his share of controversy. From his drunken adventures, last minute cancelled shows to more serious things like the use of the “N” word and dangerously throwing chairs from the roof of Eric Church’s bar.
Don’t get me wrong, he does good things too. His foundation has made some really big, philanthropic contributions to things like rebuilding little league fields. With that said, I’m not sure who on his PR team let this one get by last night, but everyone on his team including Morgan, had to know it wasn’t going to get by without out causing a “S%$T Storm” of controversy.
I give you Morgan in a Harrison Butker jersey last night, night 2 of his “One Night At A Time” tour at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Yes, home to the 4 time Super Bowl champion Chiefs, so yes, you gotta represent. The night before he wore a Royals jersey since they play next door at “The K”.

AND he came out with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones, totally DOPE!!
HOWEVER, of all the jersey numbers he could have picked, you picked #7, Harrison Butker. Now, sure, he did have it customized, but still, this is like showing the mad, charging bull red because of Harrison’s polarizing comments he made a couple months back at a commencement address.
I’m not here to dissect the comments. We all have our opinions on that moment. I’m here to say, “Morgan, dude, you clearly feel how you feel and I know you’re thinking you are not going to let anyone tell you how to feel, but not that controversy is blowing up all around you again, you have to know that you have no one to blame but yourself.”
I personally, would find it exhausting to always be doing damage control, but that’s just me. At the end of the day Morgan, if that’s what you live for, you do you.
Oh, and the “Swifties” aren’t happy with Travis who is getting caught up in this due to ‘guilt by association.’
