More in-person early voting centers open in Sedgwick County

The Sedgwick County Election Office is opening 19 satellite in-person voting locations for voters to cast ballots in advance in the August 6th primary election.

The centers will be open Tuesday, July 30th through Friday, August 2nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, August 3rd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Early in-person voting has been underway at the Election Office, and that will continue this week.  The last hours to vote at the Election Office will be Monday, August 5th from 8 a.m. to noon.

Voters who wait until election day will have to go to their assigned polling place, and the locations will be open that day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voters will be advancing candidates to the November general election in a variety of local, state and federal races.

As of Tuesday, around 12,000 advance ballots have been mailed, 4,035 of them have been returned, and 1.433 people have voted in-person at the Election Office.
