Today we salute Air Force Veteran and retired firefighter Patrick Romeo. For the second time he is riding in the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. Patrick and 999 other ride rs will ride from Daytona Beach, Florida to Homer, Alaska all in the name of raising awareness and money for not just Veterans but also for civilians, who are struggling with PTSD. This is an endurance challenge with rules. For instances, riders can’t use a GPS – only directions they get at checkpoints along the way and they have to sleep outside with their bikes. Patrick said after he did it the first time he wasn’t going to do it again, but there are still so many people in need. Thank you for helping others Patrick and THANK YOU for your service.
