A Wichita woman has been sentenced to over six years in prison for a fatal crash that killed her four-year-old daughter.
A judge gave a 73-month sentence to 33-year-old Britne Costello for involuntary manslaughter and aggravated battery. She pleaded guilty to the charges in June.
Prosecutors said Costello was driving under the influence when her car crashed on February 19th, 2023 near 199th Street West and MacArthur. Her daughter was killed and her two-year-old son was injured.
