The Kansas Department of Transportation is planning short-term closures of ramps on Interstate 235 at the North Junction in Wichita.
The closings will affect the ramp from northbound I-235 to northbound I-135 and the ramp from northbound I-235 to eastbound K-254.
Crews will be working to install new sign footing structures, and the work will take place from 5 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 27th. While the work is being done, traffic will be directed to southbound I-235. When the work is completed, the ramps will reopen.
Drivers are urged to be alert and obey the warning signs when they’re approaching the work zone.
