An unidentified woman was taken to a hospital with a critical injury after a shooting early Sunday in a southeast Wichita neighborhood.
The shooting was reported around 1 a.m. in the 5300 block of East Kinkaid, in a neighborhood northeast of the intersection of Pawnee and Oliver.
Officers found a 27-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her lower body. A suspect was being questioned.
