An unidentified man had critical injuries after an apartment fire Saturday morning in north Wichita.
Crews were called to an apartment complex in the 2700 block of North Amidon shortly after 10 a.m. and they saw smoke coming from one unit. They went inside and found a handicapped man on the floor. He was taken to a hospital.
The fire was confined to a dresser in the apartment and minimal damage was reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
