Wichita State University will again host regional games for the annual TBT (The Basketball Tournament) games.

The Aftershocks, a team of former WSU players, got an 86-71 win Saturday over Wichita-based Midtown Prestige.   Midtown features players from small colleges in Kansas.

The Kansas State alumni team, Purple Reign, lost 71-67 to Team Colorado, which will advance to play the Aftershocks on Monday.

The University of Kansas alumni team, Mass Street, will also play in the tournament, and they will play a team of Colorado State alumni at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Wichita is one of eight regionals across the country and 64 teams will be competing for a $1 million prize.   Wichita set the TBT attendance record last year when 7,200 fans turned out at Koch Arena.  This is the fifth time that Wichita will host the opening rounds of the tournament.
