Wichita police found a two-year-old boy safe and took his father into custody after an AMBER Alert was issued early Monday morning.
Police said Ryan Ramones was taken from an apartment in the 7100 block of West Shade late Sunday night, and his mother was assaulted.
An AMBER Alert was issued for the child and the father, Richard Ramones, but a short time later police reported that the boy had been found safe and the father was arrested. The alert was canceled.
