The Kansas Turnpike Authority has opened a new online toll payment system and its three customer service centers are now in operation.

The Turnpike converted to a cashless system on July 1st but more work needed to be done to open the DriveKS payment system.  Toll payments and account management will now occur at www.DriveKS.com, by calling customer service at (800) USE-KTAG, visiting a walk-in customer service center in Wichita, Topeka and Lawrence, or by mail.

Established KTAG customers can use their KTAG login credentials to access their new DriveKS account. Those wishing to make a violation or video payment issued from KTA’s prior toll system can use their statement ID.

A new DriveKS mobile app will become available once approved by the App Store and Google Play, likely within the next couple of weeks. Once available, customers will need to delete the old myKTAG app and download the new DriveKS app.

KTA is now working to generate its first toll statements out of the new system, and they’ll be making some adjustments to the system.   Statements are expected to be generated in late July or early August.

Work also is continuing to decommission the toll booths along the Turnpike, and contracts for demolition and lane configuration will begin at the end of July.  That work will take 18 months and drivers are urged to watch for crews working at the interchanges.
