An unidentified worker was taken to a hospital after receiving an electric shock at a north Wichita manufacturing facility.
The accident was reported shortly after 8 a.m. at Johnson Controls in the 800 block of East 37th Street North.
Crews found a man in his 40s with burns, some third-degree, to his face and hands. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
No other information has been released.
