Crews were dealing with damage caused by two sink holes on Wednesday, one in Wichita and the other in Bel Aire.
A sink hole appeared in the 3200 block of East Douglas, just east of Hillside, in the westbound lanes, and city crews were working to make repairs. Both westbound lanes have been closed to traffic.
Officials in Bel Aire reported that Denise Park is closed because of a sink hole. The park, northwest of 37th Street North and Woodlawn, will be closed until further notice. City officials said drainage issues caused the sink hole.
