Today we honor Navy Veteran Dale Harmon. Dale, like many Veterans, has a limited income and there are just some things he can’t afford. One of those is a new roof. His roof has been leaking and missing tiles for some time now, causing damage inside his home. With a high deductible and not enough money, it seemed impossible. That was until members of Dale’s community nominated him for a new roof courtesy of the nonprofit, The Roofs for Heroes project. Together with the Maine Veterans Project and other organizations, Dale now has a new roof, at no cost to him. Enjoy the security of that new roof Dale and THANK YOU for your service.
