1. Presidential debate fallout continues.  In a recent survey, 72 percent of people said that they believe President Biden shouldn’t be running.

2. The Supreme Court is set to rule today on whether a president is immune from prosecution over official acts conducted while in the White House. The case stems from former President Donald Trump’s challenge to four felony charges over alleged interference with the 2020 election.

3. Firearms purchases peaked during Covid and have been on the decline since. In the 1st 4 months of this year, 5.5 million guns were purchased. That’s down from last year and the trend is expected to continue.

4. Another new exercise trend that has some leaving the gym is called “Chicken-sizing”. The idea, inspired by the idea of owning chickens, basically highlights the importance of keeping moving and keeping busy with chores like taking care of chickens. So, this is basically work and chores….you can’t fool me internet. Not today.

5. and an 18-year-old woman from Iowa really didn’t want to go on a first date with a guy she met on a dating app. So, instead of declining, she did the next best thing – she called the police falsely claiming that her date was an ex, she was pregnant with his child and he was threatening her with violence. Cops arrived, the dude proved he was innocent and the woman was arrested for making a false report along with other charges. What happened to the good ole days when you would just ghost someone.
