The Justice Department is prepared to offer Boeing a plea deal that would allow the company to avoid trial over allegations it misled the FAA during 737 Max evaluations.

Boeing would plead guilty, according to attorneys for families of victims from two deadly Boeing 737 Max crashes. Under the terms, Boeing would plead guilty to a conspiracy charge, and pay roughly 200-million dollars as a fine.

ABC reported that family members of crash victims are unhappy with the proposed deal.  They wanted a public trial for Boeing.
