Today we honor Marine Veteran Gwyn Howard. Whether it is 10 or 100 degrees, Gwyn always shows up to not just hold the American flag on his local street, but to spread what he says it the love of God and America. “If you look on my Facebook page, you’ll see all the kids that’s come by and took a picture,” Howard said. “That’s why I do it. It’s all about the kids and let them know that this flag is everything to us.” After retiring from the Marines, Howard has spent his years giving back to the community. When he isn’t holding Old Glory, he is working with Shriners and is also a part of the board of advisors at an organization called the Penelope House. Gwyn says the purpose in life is to help people.  Thank you for spreading the good Gwyn and THANK YOU for your service.
