A suspect has been arrested in the hit-and-run crash that killed one person at Central and McLean on Sunday.
Police accuse a 19-year-old woman of leaving the scene of the accident that killed 28-year-old Jaz Brooks. He was a passenger in a car that collided with a pickup, which left the scene.
The woman was arrested and booked for failure to stop at an accident resulting in death.
This is Wichita’s 18th traffic-related death of 2024.
