Nearly 300 employees at Spirit AeroSystems received layoff notices yesterday.  The layoffs are blamed on a recent slowdown in the delivery rate of commercial programs.  The company said Employees affected by the layoffs will be paid through July 4th and receive benefits through July 31st.
