Wichita and Sedgwick County fire rescue teams were sent to Lake Afton early Sunday on a report of two people missing.
There was a report of two people disappearing in the water about 100 feet from shore. This was reported to 911 around 1:30 a.m.
Crews were sent to the area as a line of severe thunderstorms moved through Reno and Kingman counties into Sedgwick County. The search was paused for a time and then it resumed later in the morning. The bodies of two men were recovered around 11:15 a.m.
Investigators said one man was in his 20s and the other was in his 30s.
