Off to Louisiana for the Awesome today.  Elijah Hogan is a shy 19-year-old fan of the Marvel movies and has had his share of challenges.  One of the biggest over the last four years was attending high school and trying to keep his grades up while living in a homeless shelter. Elijah started high school during the pandemic and remote learning was not what he expected. Despite his living situation he kept going, and persevered. Elijah said “It’s been tough and rough, had a few trips and falls down, but I’m alright.” Those were just some of the words he share at his high school graduation recently when he delivered his speech as class valedictorian, graduating with a final GPA of 3.93. Elijah Hogan plans to attend Xavier University of Louisiana in the fall and is interested in studying graphic design.
