UPDATE: Sedgwick County officials have identified the victim of a house fire near Haysville on Wednesday morning. 81-year-old Jackie Wilson died at a hospital after suffering critical burns in the fire.
Crews reported flames coming from a mobile home around 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 8200 block of South Berniece. That’s in an area southwest of the intersection of 79th Street South and Broadway.
Another person at the home refused treatment for minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
