McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita will host its Frontiers in Flight Air Show for this summer. The event will be held Saturday, August 24th and Sunday, August 25th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform and the F-35 fighter demonstration team will make its first appearance at the air show. There will also be a World War II re-enactment and other professional air show performers are scheduled.
There will be free admission and transportation will be provided from parking areas to the base.
