The Wichita Police Department said officers issued 27 citations during a traffic enforcement operation Thursday afternoon on Kellogg.
The enforcement was conducted over a two-hour period in the 4000 block of West Kellogg, in response to recent complaints about speeding and aggressive driving in that area. Citations were issued for speeding and other violations, and the highest speed was 85 miles an hour.
Police are urging drivers to slow down, avoid distractions and drive safely.
