A Navy sailor from Wichita was killed during a recent training exercise.
Navy officials said 22-year-old Master at Arms Petty Officer Third Class Lyndon Joel Cosgriff-Flax was participating in a training exercise on Sunday evening on the York River in Virginia when he fell from a boat and died.
Cosgriff-Flax enlisted in the Navy in 2021.
