Special Olympics Kansas has announced the dates for its upcoming Summer Games. The event will be held from May 31st through June 2nd at Maize High School.
Athletes, families, volunteers and supporters will be gathering for events in track and field, tennis, soccer and bocce. The games will showcase the talents and achievements of athletes with intellectual disabilities from across Kansas. The theme for this year’s event is “Together Talented,” and it will include a talent show for the athletes.
The events will include opening and closing ceremonies, athlete parades, healthy athlete screenings and a number of interactive experiences.
