I love this story because it’s such a huge boost for the Wichita economy. The Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships are coming to Wichita in January of 2025. Whether you skate or just like watching the athleticism and grace on ice, this is a win-win for you and the city. I would say it’s a win-win for the competitors and their families too, for them to experience our fair city. I’m excited to see how the city is going to show up for this. Maybe some ice sculptures, truck in some snow, the possibilities have me excited.
