The Kansas Highway Patrol said an El Dorado man was killed Monday in a crash that followed a chase with a Butler County deputy.
The crash was reported at Towanda Avenue and Haverhill Road in El Dorado around 9:30 p.m. Troopers said a motorcycle was being chased by a deputy westbound when it struck the right rear corner of a pickup.
The motorcycle rider, 43-year-old Ignacio Morales, Jr. of El Dorado, was killed in the crash. A 51-year-old Wichita woman was driving the pickup, and she was not hurt.
