The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported Saturday that four people are in custody in connection with a case involving two missing women from southwest Kansas.

The OSBI said one arrest was made in Texas County, and three others were taken into custody in Cimarron County.  Both counties are in the Oklahoma panhandle.   Two men, ages 50 and 43, and two women, ages 54 and 44, were booked into the Texas County jail on charges of first degree murder and kidnapping.

No other details have been released, but the search continues for the two missing women.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has canceled its Endangered Missing Person advisory for the two women.

27-year-old Veronica Butler and 39-year-old Jilian Kelley of Hugoton were last seen on March 30th when they were traveling to pick up children, but they never made it to the pickup location.  Their vehicle was found south of Elkhart, Kansas, in rural Texas County, Oklahoma.

OSBI agents have been in the Oklahoma panhandle to investigate the disappearance, and spokesman Hunter McKee said evidence found in the car indicated foul play.  The FBI has been assisting with the investigation.
