Police said a 41-year-old Wichita woman died in a crash Sunday afternoon at a south side interchange.
The crash was reported around 1 p.m. at 47th Street South and I-135. A car was going west on 47th when it hit a traffic signal pole. A witness reported being told by the driver that she was having difficulty breathing, so police believe a medical emergency led to the crash.
EMS crews pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
