Heading into Easter Weekend, here are 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. Towne West had its power cut again as more tenants look to move from this very unstable, and troubling situation that is doing nothing but hurting the businesses inside.  As much as the power and water have been shut off at Towne West this year, it could easily become a drinking game.

2. If you had Dengue Fever on your 2024 bingo card, grab your blotter. Dengue cases in the Americas were up three times higher in January through March compared to the same period last year. Dengue is mosquito carried virus that kills an estimated 40,000 people a year and is on the rise due to the unusually warm and moist weather patterns being caused by this year’s El Nino.

3. You know when you walk into Costco or Sam’s Club they have all the tv’s right there and you get distracted by all the pretty pictures.  Well this new tv from Vizio is sure to stop you in your tracks for two reasons….size and price. On April 29th you can get the new Vizio 86″ 4K tv for $999. Amy, if you’re listening, this would be a great housewarming gift for our new place

4. If you shop at Whole Foods here in town and use the Amazon One palm scan to pay feature, it’s pretty cool right.  Makes me feel like a Jedi.  Well, now you don’t have to go in store to sign up. Amazon just released an app that will image and store the vein structure in your hand, allowing sign up for its palm recognition service directly from a smartphone.

5.  A popular attraction at Disneyland was shut down after somebody scattered human cremated remains. It happened this week on the popular Star Wars attraction “Rise of the Resistance.” Cast members had to clean up the ashes. Apparently this happens on other Disney attractions too.  If they had waited and done this on a Marvel ride where Thanos snaps his fingers, no one would have noticed.  If you know you know.

and THAT’S TRENDING.
