One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash early Saturday in Sumner County.
The crash was reported around 3:30 a.m. at 119th Street South and Broadway, east of the community of Peck.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and three other people were taken to a hospital.
Clearwater police reported that one of their officers was killed in a car accident early Saturday, but it’s not clear if it was this accident or a separate crash. Officer Scott Hollingsworth was on his way home after his shift, according to a social media post from the City of Clearwater. Hollingsworth had been with the department for about a year.
