Developers behind a planned high-rise in Oklahoma City are asking for a zoning change that would allow them to erect the tallest skyscraper in the country.
Paperwork shows the new plans are for a building that’s 19-hundred feet tall. That would be 100-feet higher than New York’s One Trade Center Tower.
The Boardwalk at Bricktown would include three towers, including a Legends Tower that would have a hotel, condos, stores, a restaurant and an observatory on top.
The project would need to be approved by the Oklahoma City planning commission and the City Council.
