Coach Pitino dropped this photo of a young Chris Stapleton out of nowhere! Coach hosted basketball camps during his time at the University of Kentucky. Pitino was there from 1989 to 1997 to give you some sort of time frame. Chris was born in 1978. So, Chris was likely a teenager in this photo. Coach went on to say that he didn’t like the way Chris played defense. He did not mention if he liked the way Chris played guitar. Anyway, basketballs loss is a win for Country Music!
