Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Veteran Brian Taylor. Brian had fallen on hard times. No job, no home, but he wasn’t out of the fight yet. No stranger to hard work, and determined to do things on his own, Brian walked almost 30 miles from Valdosta to Thomasville where he found the Goodwill Career Center. From there, he started a job at the local grocery store. Other community services helped him with basic transportation and shelter as he now is looking for more permanent housing, but it’s all a step in the right direction and Brian is determined to succeed. Keep that determination Brian and Thank You for your service.
