2. Jelly Rolly can now add “Grammy Nominated” to his list of achievements. Nominated in the New Artist category and Best Country Duo with Lainey Wilson for Save Me. He reacted with raw emotion on social media when he found out, saying “I didn’t cry like this when my daddy died.”. That being said, how does “Whitsit Chapel” not get at least a “Best Country Album” nod? Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, The War and Treaty, Brothers Osborne, Dierks Bentley, Carly Pearce and Chris Stapleton were just some of the country names on the Grammy nominee list.
3. If you haven’t heard Priscilla Block’s new single “Hey Jack” – it came out Friday and it’s full of feel good bad decisions.
4. Fans are still talking and some are not saying nice things about Carrie Underwood not being at the CMA’s. Carrie, was the only Entertainer of the Year nominee NOT there and that people who aren’t qualified to wash Carrie’s sock, criticizing her absence. Meanwhile, Carrie’s devoted fans think Carrie not winning EOTY and only being nominated in that category was a travesty.
