A closed senior living facility in Wichita will reopen next year under new ownership.

Oxford Senior Living of Wichita is buying the former Kansas Masonic Home at Maple and Martinson, and the deal is expected to close by the end of the year.  The facility will reopen as Oxford Vista and it will offer affordable senior housing.

The new facility will open with 137 units but there are plans to expand and also provide care through a nursing operator.

The Masonic Home closed in last 2022 because of heavy debts from a major expansion in 2015.

Oxford Senior Living also has senior apartments and assisted living facilities in west Wichita, and a memory care facility in Derby.
