The 44th Annual Wichita Toy Run will be held Sunday, November 5th, bringing thousands of bikers to the downtown area.

Motorcycle riders will gather at Douglas and McLean and they will ride to Hartman Arena, carrying donations for the Salvation Army, the U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots program and the Kansas Food Bank.     The lineup starts at 9 a.m. and the bikes will leave at 1 p.m.

Participants are urged to bring a new unwrapped toy or a cash donation, and to bring items for youngsters ages 10-14.

Douglas will be shut down from McLean to Main beginning at 7 am, then Broadway will be closed from Douglas to Hartman arena beginning at 12 p.m.   Streets will be closed in the area to create a safe route along Broadway to Hartman Arena.   Drivers are urged to find an alternate route or avoid the downtown area .
The event is sponsored by the Kansas Modified Bike Association and ABATE of Kansas District 8, in conjunction with all Wichita area motorcycle clubs.
