Wichita real estate executive Nestor Weigand, Junior has died at the age of 84.
He had served as J.P. Weigand & Sons CEO since 1983 and as chairman since 2001.
The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce said his contributions to the city were immeasurable. Kansas Senator Jerry Moran said not only was he an expert in real estate, he was also a leader in the Wichita community and understood the people of Kansas.
