Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors 86-year-old Vietnam Veteran Wayne Keim. After a chance encounter with a stranger, Wayne is receiving something he’s been missing for 67 years, the 5 medals he earned for his service in Vietnam. It started when Dee approached Wayne at a restaurant and thanked him for his service, from there a friendship was born and Wayne revealed he had never received these medals. From there Dee was determined to make that happen and she did. Wayne got his medals and the recognition that was long over due. Thank you Dee for your kindness and THANK YOU Wayne for your service.
