Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Marine Corps Veteran Louis Bethley Jr, the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project and Purple Heart Homes. Louis, permanently disabled after a train accident, said he didn’t want to be a bother to anyone but he knew he needed a new roof on his home in Mississippi. It was on his list of things to do before his wife died, which put a financial strain on him. Thankfully, Owens Corning and Purple Heart Homes stepped in and the work was completed yesterday. Thank you to the nonprofits who stepped into help and THANK YOU Louis for your service.
