A crash involving a car and a school bus resulted in the death of a child late Friday afternoon in Butler County.
The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. on K-254 at SW Adams Road, west of Towanda. The crash involved a bus from the Circle school district. Deputies said the northbound bus was crossing K-254 when it was hit by the car.
Investigators said a minor who was in the car died as a result of the crash, and the driver of the car had serious injuries. Butler County officials said no injuries were reported on the school bus and another bus was sent to the scene to pick up the children.
