A southwest Wichita water park has closed until further notice because of weekend vandalism.
The damage was reported Monday at Splash Aqua Park ICT near I-235 and Seneca. A statement on the park’s Facebook page said the vandalism destroyed the park.
The statement said the park has been vandalized before but this latest incident left several inflatables destroyed. The statement said, “We are doing everything we can to figure out what the rest of our season looks like, so please be patient while we navigate this horrible situation.”
