Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Vietnam Veteran Larry Taylor. Larry was one of the first Cobra helicopter pilots in the war. Larry said the gunships always brought him back home. At the age of 81, Larry says he still has dreams about the war to this day. Good dreams and of course dreams that relieve the horrors of war. Images he has carried with him for 55 years. Just a few days ago, Larry received a call that he would be going to Washington D.C., so he could be honored by a grateful nation and receive the Medal of Honor.
