Wichita Police arrested a third person in connection to the July 3rd shooting that killed 16-year-old Elrecus Nolan.
The 24-year-old man from Valley Center now faces 1st degree murder charges. Two other men, both 21-years-old, were arrested earlier this week.
Officers were dispatched to shots fired call at the intersection of Mt. Vernon and Ellis Street. Officers arrived on the scene and located Nolan inside the vehicle he was driving unconscious and not breathing with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Officers began providing life-saving efforts until EMS arrived but Nolan was pronounced deceased at the scene.
